Disciple of Guru Smt. Thankamani Kutti of Tanjavur Style. Working 30 years as performer, 25 years as instructor, 15 years as Artistic director. Taking part in conferences, seminars and programs regularly. Her students learning and performing worldwide.   

Achievement:

• Panel chair at the International seminar on World religion held at McGill University in Sept 2006, Canada
• “A” grade artist of Doordarshan[National TV channel], India from 1990 till 1996, India
• Young Talent in 1995 by Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Dept. of Culture, Govt. of India
• Regular performances all over the world

• Took Rigorous Bharatnatyam training for 20 years from Guru Smt. Thankamani Kutty, following Guru Shisya Parampara
• Sangeet Bivakar in Bharatnatyam [Bachelor in Dance with honours in Bharatnatyam] with First Class Distinction in practical and theory, Bangeo Sangeet Parishad, India, 1988
• Sangeet Bivakar in Rabindra Nritya [Bachelor in Dance with honours in Rabindra Nritya] with First Class Distinction in practical and theory, Bangeo Sangeet Parishad, India, 1989
• Took training in dance from Smt. Laily Basu, Sri Smriti Ranjan Ghosh, Sri Deviprasad Mitra, India
• Attended extensive workshops and lecture demonstrations on dance and performing arts by world famous personalities.
